Lamar Street, in downtown. It’s officially underway! It’s just one street so far, but I am hoping it is just the beginning of a growing network of such lanes throughout the city and surrounding areas. There is a large cycling community in this city – not just spandex clad roadies, but people who rely on bikes as their primary mode of transportation.
Can’t wait for what the future holds for our city!
