Friday’s Jam

I love music. Every Friday, assuming I remember, I’m going to post a song that either I’ve had in my head, I’ve heard on the radio, or is just awesome and more people should know. I figure it’s a good way to wind up the week.

I thoroughly enjoy almost all kinds of music, with the exception of rap. I don’t mind Country, but don’t go out of my way to listen to it, except Garth Brooks and Alabama – I have a soft spot in my heart for them. Oh, and no death metal.

Anyway, for the Friday Jam debut, I give you one of those weird yet satisfying songs from the 90’s by the weird yet satisfying Annie Lennox:

Please let me know if the embedded YouTubes don’t show up. They do for me, but might not for others.

And yes, that is Hugh Laurie and John Malkovich.

I saw it, but I don’t understand the song. *shrugs shoulders* But that’s me. I like most songs from 1900 to 1989, I’m OK with Country, and hate Rap, and most Heavy Metal (why do they need to scream???). I like classics like Beethoven, Mozart and Bach, too. 🙂

I played trombone from 4th grade through 12th grade. Bass trombone as well. I love me some classical music.

I play trumpet (started in 4th grade too). I like playing modern-ish songs with the band. It’s interesting. 🙂
